We are very excited to announce the launch of our new treeplanting initiative in Armenia, a country with approximately 11% of the land being covered by forests and where illegal logging and uncontrolled animal grazing have played a significant role in the forest loss.
In collaboration with our local partners on the ground My Forest Armenia we are starting by planting 2.000 trees, which will all be indigenous species and will provide work, while supporting the biodiversity and forest coverage of the land.
