But you may ask, “Why India”?
India is a great nation and currently one of the most powerful planetary leaders.
It is home to over 1,4 Billion people.
The bad news is that it is the second most polluted country on the planet and the Deforestation rate of the country is the second highest worldwide.
For our global operations department it was only natural and urgent to begin action in this part of the world.
But this would have been impossible without our friends and strong supporters in India, helping us to get established and get started. We are grateful and wish to extend a heartfelt “thank you” to our first Global Defenders in India, Monika and Ggaurav Wadhera and their great team on the ground.
We wish to see India as one of the best examples of sustainable development worldwide. Development that respects the balance of nature and the well being of the people parallel to sound economic growth.
2025 will be a year of change for our planet.
