EERUi<\/strong> (Initiative for Empowering Education in Rural and Urban Slums) Children’s Homes aim to ensure that they meet the needs of children who are unable to live with their families.<\/p>\n

This means that in addition to providing food, shelter and space for play and recreation in a caring environment, Children’s Homes also act as a place where children can grow and develop.<\/p>\n

Past weekend, Huruma Children’s Home in Eldoret, Kenya welcomed us to impart knowledge about Sustainable Development.<\/p>\n

The children had the opportunity to participate in a hands-on Sustainable Development Education session, which concluded with planting and caring trees by the children themselves.<\/p>\n

However, all the attendees planted a new tree and all promised to take care of them as a means of combating climate change, but at the same time to taste the fruits that the trees so abundantly provide.<\/p>\n
