WE4ALL KENYA – NATIONAL TREE PLANTING DAY

Good news!

The Kenyan government recently declared a public holiday, on 13 November, to encourage residents to plant 100 million trees across the country, a call to which thousands of people responded  together with our local we4all tree-planters that they have plant trees in Kalivu of Kitui county.

President William Ruto has pledged that 15 billion trees will be planted by 2032 to boost Kenya’s forest cover following the Horn of Africa region’s worst drought in 40 years.

We have been a part of the movement to plant trees in Kenya since the last 3 years, having planted over 100.000 trees in the broader area.

Let’s hope more countries will imitate this great initiative.
