ΔΡΑΣΕΙΣ ΤΗΣ ΟΜΑΔΑΣ ΜΑΣ ΣΤΗΝ ΝΙΓΗΡΙΑ

Since more than a year ago we have been engaged in the restoration of Mangrove forests at the banks of Niger Delta in Nigeria.

Mangroves provide natural infrastructure and protection to nearby populated areas by preventing erosion and absorbing storm impacts during extreme weather events such as hurricanes.

They are also important to the ecosystem too. Their dense roots help bind and build soils.

These are some pictures of our local crew helping rebuild the fragile ecosystem.
