Northeastern Attica: The Fire in the Suburbs and the Need for Prevention

In a matter of a few hours the whole of North East Attica was in flames. The fire did not stop in the forest but entered a major part of the suburbs of Athens, destroying homes, companies and putting lives in grave danger. The wildfire is still raging at this time and everyone is still “at arms”.
This keeps happening and it WILL happen again until we learn and until we realize that we have to get serious in the matter of fire PREVENTION and environmental and civil protection. Before it’s too late for all.
