With this motto, our renewed partnership with AstraZeneca Greece will have as a result 8.000 new trees!
On the 22nd of November, more than 260 volunteers from AstraZeneca Greece gathered at the same time in Lycabettus Mountain in Athens and Thermi municipality in Thessaloniki to plant native young trees, suitable for the local ecosystem.
In Athens we had the honor to welcome Mayor Mr. Haris Doukas and Vice Mayor Mr. George Apostolopoulos who have embraced our initiative and in Thermi, the Mayor Mr. Papadopoulos was present along with his Staff.
Our goal is to strengthen the resilience of the local ecosystems and to add oxygen to our cities and land that is so much needed!
The important work has just begun.
